Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Ranging at $18/hour
- 1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
- Located in Elk Grove Village, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Unpack parts, document the as-received condition, and prepare orders for inspection using pre-determined criteria
- Upon completion of processing, perform final visual inspection and carefully package parts in according to customer requirements
- Maintain proper housekeeping while adhering to applicable chemical, environmental and
- safety procedures
- Track orders and labor times using clients internal software
- Provide cross functional support to other departments within the NDT group, as needed
- Take part in company-wide training and continuous improvement opportunities toward quality assurance initiatives, company objectives and peripheral projects
- Must be a quality focused, detail-oriented, organized, and self-starting individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to efficiently complete tasks with consistency, and accuracy
- The NDT inspection is a controlled process, therefore attention to detail and care in handling customer parts and test equipment is required
- Understand the clients turnaround schedule and align orders to meet customer demands
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel within the organization
Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Experience in a quality, manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods of time and have the strength to handle parts ranging in size and weight.
