Department: Office of Public Works -
Division: Engineering

In this role, you will:
● Review land subdivision plans, calculations, reports, and provide alternative solutions when necessary. Represent the Chief City Engineer on the Land Subdivision Committee.
● Collaborate with the Sangamon County Regional Planning Commission on matters related to development and platting.
● Perform document preparation, transmittal, status tracking, reporting and filing of land subdivision, large scale and PUD developments.
● Coordinates and reviews utility permits, ensuring all work adheres to City standards.
● Conduct routine and final inspections for city permits, plans, and construction projects. Conduct periodic field assignments, data collection, and assessments for development and utility related infrastructure.
● Investigates subdivision complaints, such as those involving erosion control and sump pump matters.
