Position Overview: Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support the processing and servicing of insurance accounts. This non-licensed role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the insurance industry, with potential for career advancement and licensing. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing and servicing insurance accounts, including policy updates, data entry, and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to agents by managing paperwork, handling phone calls, and responding to client inquiries.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers to facilitate policy changes, renewals, and other account-related updates.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Organize and manage client information, ensuring confidentiality and efficiency.
  • Support general office tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new software.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn about the insurance industry.
  • Previous administrative or office experience is a plus, but not required.
