Job DescriptionPosition Purpose:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Sales Engineer who possesses well rounded knowledge of component manufacturing for large OEMs and machining techniques. The Sales Engineer will have a dual focus on business development and project management, with the versatility to engage in detailed quoting activities when required. We seek a candidate who not only understands the technical intricacies but also excels in the OEM sales process, delivering both exceptional solutions and superior customer experience, incorporating PPAP and APQP methodologies into our processes.
Essential Functions:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Project Management:
- Manage customer projects from initial concept through delivery ensurng alignment with PPAP and APQP standards.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams - including engineering, manufacturing, and logistics - to ensure customer requirements are met on time and within scope.
- Track project milestones, timeliness, and deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain project momentum.
- Facilitate the PPAP process and integrate APQP principles to ensure quality planning and successful project launches.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Quoting and Technical Support:
- Support the quoting process by reviewing technical specifications and ensuring alignment with Anchor Harvey's manufacturing capabilities.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams, helping to clarify requirements and recommend optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries and RFQs.
Education and Training:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in component manufacturing, with a deep knowledge of machining processes and OEM requirements.
- Demonstrated success in technical sales, business development, or account management within the industrial or OEM market.
- Strong understanding of PPAP and APQP methodologies and their application in project execution.
- Proven ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously, with a focus on quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Skilled in preparing and delivering technical presentations and proposals.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.

Rate: In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is $80,000 - $104,000.00 USD annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. This pay range is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
