Job Description
The Flooring Expeditor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials, orders, and communication between sales teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers. This position supports the operational and customer service functions of a flooring company by managing order processing, tracking deliveries, and resolving logistical issues.
Key Responsibilities:-
Order Management:
- Process customer orders from start to finish, including data entry, material ordering, and scheduling.
- Ensure subcontractor work orders are priced accurately and align with customer quotes.
- Follow up consistently on open orders and delivery timelines.

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination:
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to confirm material availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure proper pricing and scope alignment for each customer order.

Customer & Sales Support:
- Maintain professional communication with customers and sales staff.
- Assist sales teams in understanding client needs, quotes, and project timelines.
- Provide updates on order status and resolve any issues that arise.

Administrative & Operational Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and project progress.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reorders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
