Job Description
Position Summary
The Site Director is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and operations of a high-volume, city-funded, 24/7 centralized intake and transportation program. This program serves as the central access point for individuals experiencing homelessness and coordinates triage, transportation, diversion, and shelter placement services. The Site Director leads a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, trauma-informed, and efficient service delivery in alignment with city priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision for CSITCR’s intake and triage site operations, ensuring 24/7 coverage, client safety, and service coordination.
- Oversee daily functions of dispatch, behavioral health stabilization, transportation logistics, field intake, and on-site triage.
- Supervise shift supervisors, safety monitors, intake/driver staff, clinicians, dispatchers, and support staff.
- Maintain strong partnerships and real-time coordination with shelter providers, DFSS leadership, outreach teams, and emergency responders.
- Manage scheduling, staff performance, and training; lead shift hand-offs and staff huddles.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry and tracking using The Grove and DFSS One System platforms.
- Monitor utilization, occupancy flow, transportation activity, and crisis response timelines.
- Support incident response and ensure adherence to critical incident, de-escalation, and emergency shelter protocols.
- Uphold Housing First, trauma-informed care, harm-reduction, and equity-based practices across the program.
- Coordinate with facilities, safety/security, and technology teams to ensure smooth site operations.
- Submit daily/weekly reports, ensure compliance with funder requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement strategies.
- Participate in citywide coordination meetings, audits, and emergency response efforts as needed.
