Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment, and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Associate Machine Operator opportunity at TapeCase. This role reports into our TapeCase Division located in Elk Grove Village, IL.

At TapeCase, we design, convert, manufacture, and distribute highly engineered adhesive tape products. We add value to the highly engineered products we sell by enhancing their delivered formats by offering expansive tape converting services to provide a custom tape solution for nearly any application. You will set up and safely operate advanced production machinery. Lead complex machine setup, quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sets up, adjusts, operates, disassembles and cleans basic packaging equipment
  • Interprets production bills of material for proper setup and allocation of packaging materials
  • Performs inline quality inspections
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area, including machines before use
  • Safely operates required power and hand tools

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0 years of production experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalency is preferred
  • Ability to follow Bill of Material and Work Instructions
  • Ability to read
  • Basic Math
  • Ability to learn how to operate machinery
  • Ability to provide basic maintenance to machinery
  • Ability to follow safety standards and protocols
  • The pay range targeting a minimum of $19-$22/hour, will be commensurate with applicable years of relevant work experience
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
