CED strives to pay a competitive wage in the industry and regional market. The pay range for this position is $23.50/hr-$28.75/hr and is eligible to participate in our discretionary bonus program. JOB SUMMARY
The Calibration Coordinator coordinates all tracking of inventoried gages and associated calibrations / services as required by CED’s Quality Management System. Additionally, performs duties and monitors processes to ensure regulatory, statutory and industry standards and compliance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Create, maintain and update a wide range of equipment, gages and tooling in the calibration software (GageTrak); updates include certificates, locations, due date of next service, and the like
- Coordinate with gage calibrations with approved calibration vendors
- Communicate with internal departments for asset removal and return to service
- Monitor certifications of approved vendors; escalate concerns or potential deviations to department leadership
- Coordinate acceptance of new equipment with internal stakeholders as directed
- Ensure calibrations are maintained and serviced according to the established schedule and appropriate vendor

- Comply with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

EDUCATION
- High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- 0-2 years relevant experience preferred
- Basic blueprint reading and manufacturing technology preferred
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS
- Lawful permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions)
- Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) for all employees of Chemring Energetic Devices
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Exceptional attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and ability to independently perform multiple assignments
- Excellent problem-solving skills
PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently. Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Use of computer.
