Automotive BDC Consultant – Job Description

Position Summary:
The Automotive BDC (Business Development Center) Consultant is responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer communications, setting service and sales appointments, and providing exceptional customer support. This role plays a key part in building strong customer relationships and driving dealership growth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Answer inbound calls, online inquiries, and messages in a professional and timely manner

  • Make outbound calls to follow up with leads, service reminders, and appointment confirmations

  • Schedule and manage sales and service appointments

  • Update and maintain customer information in the CRM system

  • Provide product and service information to customers

  • Coordinate with sales and service teams to ensure smooth customer experiences

  • Meet daily and monthly performance goals

  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service, call center, or dealership experience preferred

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work full-time in a fast-paced dealership environment

  • Basic computer and CRM knowledge is a plus

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
