Job Description

1. Financial Reporting:
1a. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements.
1b. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
1c. Budgeting and Forecasting:
1d. Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
1e. Monitor and report on variances between actual results and budgeted figures.
2. Cash Flow Management:
2a. Monitor cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient funds to meet its obligations.
2b. Optimize cash management strategies.
3. Internal Controls:
3a. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
3b. Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial processes and systems.
4. Tax Compliance:
4a. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
4b. Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.
5. Financial Analysis:
5a. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
5b. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
6. Team Leadership:
6a. Manage and develop the accounting/finance team.
6b. Delegate tasks and provide training to ensure professional growth within the team.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
7a. Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
