Position ResponsibilitiesAs a Consultant at Manatt Health, you’ll collaborate with a team of passionate professionals to develop business strategies and policy recommendations that shape the future of health care. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to projects across a range of high-impact areas, including:

Payment and delivery system transformation

Health system and academic medical center strategy

Medicaid and Medicare policy, redesign, and innovation

Digital health and life sciences access, coverage, and reimbursement strategies
You will play a key role in developing actionable insights and strategic recommendations for clients, conducting qualitative and quantitative research, analyzing health policy and market trends, and supporting project management and client deliverables. Manatt Health offers professional growth through mentorship, firm-wide learning programs, and opportunities to collaborate directly with senior leaders across our legal and consulting practices.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the development of high-impact strategies to advance our clients’ policy and business objectives; conducting qualitative and quantitative research on health care business and policy issues, presentation development, design, and delivery; monitoring federal and state health policy trends; tracking emerging health care market trends; and project management support.
Qualifications-
Master’s degree in business administration, public health, public administration, public policy, health administration, economics, health care management, or another relevant area from an accredited graduate program.

Two years or more of relevant work experience in the health care industry is required. Knowledge of Medicaid policy is beneficial.

Two years or more of relevant work experience in professional services consulting is required.

Relevant internships and/or lived experience, with a demonstrated interest in and enthusiasm for business strategy and marketplace issues, health equity, and other health care trends, is a plus.

Outstanding problem-solving, organizational, communication, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills in a variety of settings and media.

Ability to work independently, be part of a team, and collaborate with others, as well as eagerness and curiosity to learn new topic areas quickly.

Strong computer skills, including professional-level proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Pay Transparency:
The base annual pay range for this role is between $130,000 -$165,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location, and will also take into account internal equity. Additional medical, financial and/or other benefits will be offered, dependent on the position.
