Job Description
The main focus of accessibility review at our company is around WCAG 2.1 but the larger goal is to improve site usability as a whole with a universal design mindset. Responsibilities:
- Consultation - consult with clients on both a technical level of how to resolve issues as well as helping develop processes and content governance
- Testing and Planning - work with clients to determine the testing environment, requirements, and goals. You will test systems against a mixture of automated, specific manual tests, and assistive technology tools
- Reporting / Documentation - deliver results of accessibility audits and tests as well as participate in follow-up communication with clients
- Protocol Development - contribute to internal processes to improve our support process for customers and end users
- Remediation - utilize development and technical skills to actually go into code and documents in order to resolve accessibility barriers
- Educate - help foster knowledge and growth in both internal and external communities
