Job Description

Oversee daily trucking and logistics operations including dispatch, fleet management, routing and delivery performance. Lead and manage department heads, dispatchers, drivers, logistics personnel, and support staff. Implement strategic plan to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor and analyze KPIs, performance reports, and operational metrics using business analytics tools. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards. Manage fleet maintenance schedules and vehicle performance in coordination with Maintenance Department. Collaborate with HR for hiring, training, and performance management of operations staff. Optimize route planning, fuel efficiency, and equipment utilization. Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service teams to align operational execution with client expectations. Develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives. Maintain vendor and third-party logistics provider relationships. Continuously identify process improvements and technology enhancements.
