We operate a custom manure business where we pump swine and dairy manure in southern Illinois. Our pumping season starts in March and ends in December. We have new and up to date equipment. We use a dragline (umbilical) system to pump around 175 million gallons a year through three draglines. We need of seasonal help to operate trucks and large John Deere tractors to haul and apply manure fertilizer to the fields. Employees will also need to do infield repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employees will need to be able to do the following: operate newer john deere tractors 8 and 9 R's, operate newer 1 ton dually pickup trucks pulling a trailer, operate Honda pioneer side by sides, operate Puck's Lightspeed pump controls, straitening hose out with side by side so the hose cart can pick it up, operate the hose cart to pick up and lay out hose, and backing up trailers with all of the previously listed. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
