Volt is immediately hiring for IMAGE REPRODUCTION OPERATOR 2 in NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia.

As an IMAGE REPRODUCTION OPERATOR 2 you will:

Operate large duplicating and/or scanning machines to make copies of drawings, photographs, or documents. Responsibilities include:
  • Manipulating complex electronic engineering documents critical to ship construction.
  • Operating a networked color print system and a high-volume digital printer with various finishing options.
  • Scanning small and large format drawings.
  • Completing indexing and file conversions.

Work Arrangement
  • Remote work is not an option - resource must be 100% onsite.
  • No driving or travel required.
Special Requirements
  • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with scanning and printing software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking ability.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Commitment to working safely.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Plus 2 years of additional education and/or experience
Required PPE
  • Ear Muffs
  • Hard Hat
  • Safety Glasses
  • Steel Toe Boots
Schedule: 1st Shift

Location: NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia

Pay Rate*: $1 9 - $24.45 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
