Safety Coordinator

Location: St. Louis, MO
Pay: $55,000/yr–$60,000/yr, BOE
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive Safety Coordinator to lead and maintain our workplace safety and health programs. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of safety across multiple company locations. Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with leadership to create, update, and enforce safety policies and procedures.

· Monitor compliance with OSHA and other federal, state, and local safety regulations.

· Maintain accurate OSHA documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping.

· Provide technical expertise and administrative support for safety initiatives.

· Exercise authority to halt operations when immediate hazards are identified.

· Analyze workplace risks and recommend corrective measures to prevent injuries and accidents.

· Deliver safety training sessions and coordinate ongoing employee education programs.

· Review and enhance existing training materials for effectiveness and relevance.

· Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and walkthroughs to ensure compliance.

· Prepare detailed reports on incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.

· Assist with safety-related projects and other duties as assigned.

· Travel to company sites in multiple states (approximately 20–30%).
