Job Description

Job Duties: ZS Associates, Inc. has multiple openings for Senior Finance Associate (REQ#24091) in Evanston, IL.  Role may be performed at various unanticipated work locations throughout the US.

Provide regular reporting and financial analysis to support senior leaders of our regions, business units and corporate functions. Identify and resolve any financial issues related to our operations. Conduct proactive analysis on clients and practice areas and identify opportunities for Commercial improvement. Provide reporting on our financial status and outlook. Identify financial risks/issues and provide practical advice to help leadership address them. Drive and improve performance in line with strategic plans. Work cross-functionally to ensure financial success of our client engagements. Engage effectively with project teams and finance colleagues at all levels to identify and resolve any financial issues relating to a particular space. Understand P&L revenue and cost drivers to aid client leads in improving profitability for a space. Support with creation and maintenance of detailed forecasts for revenue, cost, and profit, including pipeline tracking/business development support. Increase the awareness of good financial management practices across the firm. Update revenue and profit forecasts for client accounts, markets, and regions. Perform cost analysis to capture insights on company expense trends. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis support and support client teams in project pricing, including supporting large ongoing client projects by calculating cost and margin variances from original plan. May work at various, unanticipated locations throughout the United States. 

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a finance-related role. Alternatively, Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a finance-related role.

Related degree and/or experience and/or skills required.
