Job Description
Job title: Crew Manager & Field Operations Lead
Job duties: It’s A Wonderful Light is hiring a Full-Time Crew Manager & Field Operations Lead to support and oversee our field crews for holiday and permanent lighting installations. This role is perfect for a bilingual, hands-on leader with technical skills, crew experience, and a strong work ethic. You’ll help manage daily operations, assist with installations when needed, prep materials, and provide customer support in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crew Management: Supervise and coordinate installation crews to ensure high-quality work, safety, and on-time job completion.
- Installation Support: Assist in lighting installations—both temporary and permanent—including working at heights up to 40 feet.
- Low-Voltage Lighting: Perform basic low-voltage wiring and install permanent lighting systems (training provided).
- Material & Vehicle Prep: Organize and load materials, tools, and equipment into trucks/trailers for daily projects.
- Customer Support: Explain and demonstrate the permanent lighting mobile app and system functionality to customers.
- Service Calls: Troubleshoot and resolve service issues onsite quickly and professionally.
- Driving: Safely operate trucks and trailers to and from job sites.

Minimum Job Requirements
High school/GED
Experience
24 Months, Prior experience in field service, crew leadership, or outdoor labor preferred.
Special skills or other requirements
- Valid driver’s license with experience driving trucks and trailers.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Comfortable working on ladders up to 40 feet
- Low-voltage wiring experience or knowledge (required)
- Ability to work long hours outdoors in cold weather
- Tech-savvy and confident in explaining mobile apps and smart lighting systems to customers
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Prior experience in field service, crew leadership, or outdoor labor preferred
- Will travel be required in order to perform the job dutie, Travel to the surrounding states when needed. (Day travel only)
