Job Description
About the Role: Workforce Investment Solutions, a contractor for Hire 360, is seeking a Climate Works Career Planner to guide program participants in achieving their individualized career and educational goals. The Career Planner will provide counseling, case management, and support services while coordinating closely with Workforce staff, instructors, and other partners. This role requires a balance of interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and knowledge of career development practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Works with Intake Specialist with participant intake, assess eligibility, and maintain accurate records per Climate Works/Hire 360 guidelines.
Maintain case notes in Sales Force and track participant progress, revising individualized career plans as needed.
Counsel participants on career planning, educational goals, and personal or social barriers to success.
Refer participants to appropriate educational, vocational, or support services.
Coordinate workshops, information sessions, and graduation events for program participants.
Support participants in applying to trade schools, technical programs, and apprenticeships.
Conduct follow-up and exit interviews to evaluate outcomes.
Collaborate with instructors, service staff, and community partners to resolve barriers and ensure program compliance.
Monitor and report on performance measures as mandated by the Climate Works grant.
Assist with academic support, tutoring, attendance monitoring, and action plan follow-ups.
Enter, maintain, and verify program data in Sales Force and other applicable systems.
Perform other duties as assigned to support program goals.
