Folder Operator

Shift:

Wed - Fri 6pm - 6am

Mon - Friday 10pm - 6am

Pay: $20 - $25

Location: Summit, il

Overview:

We are seeking experienced Folder Operators to join a production team in a fast-paced print and manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating Stahl folder equipment while meeting production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate pocket folder, gluer, and imaging equipment

Operate Stahl folder equipment according to production standards

Complete production paperwork accurately and on time

Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet specifications

Follow job orders and special instructions precisely

Keep work area clean, organized, and safe

Perform additional duties as assigned

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Maintain flexibility to work overtime as needed

Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

Knowledge of and ability to set up and operate folder and bindery equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Solid math skills

Ability to identify machine issues and make basic adjustments

Comfortable working in a team environment

Regular and predictable attendance is essential

2+ years of bindery or folder experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
