Operate and maintain agricultural equipment used in grain production, including tractors, combines, irrigation systems, sprayers, and other farm machinery. Attach and operate various implements, including plows, discs, seed drills, sprayers, harvesters, and manure spreaders. Drive and operate machinery to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilize, spray, harvest, and store grain crops. Mix and load seeds, fertilizers, and chemicals into planting or spraying equipment. Apply fertilizers and pesticides using machinery or hand sprayers to control weeds, pests, and plant diseases. Operate and maintain irrigation systems, including setting up portable pipes, pumps, and ditch systems. Perform routine maintenance on farm machinery and report malfunctions to supervisors. Drive farm trucks to transport crops, supplies, tools, and farm workers as needed.
