Job Title: 3D Retail Designer (Paint Category Experience Required)
Location: Western Suburbs of Chicago, IL (Onsite 3 days/week - flexible days, Remote 2 days a week)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $100,000-$110,000
About the Role
Our shopper marketing agency client is seeking a talented 3D Retail Designer to join their creative team. This role is perfect for a designer who thrives in retail environments and has hands-on experience with paint category projects for major retailers or brands. You'll play a key role in bringing innovative retail display concepts to life through 3D rendering and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sketch concepts for retail displays, including POP and in-store fixtures
- Transform provided concepts into detailed 3D renderings for retail environments
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams and model shops to turn designs into prototypes
- Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and deliver impactful shopper experiences
Requirements
- Paint category experience (retailers like Ace, Home Depot OR brands like Behr, Sherwin-Williams)
- Minimum 3 years of 3D rendering experience in retail design
- Proficiency in 3D software such as Rhino, Pro/E, SolidWorks, or similar tools
- Strong background in retail display design (POP, fixtures, merchandising)
- Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in the Western Suburbs of Chicago
