Hours: 7am-3pm Monday-Friday + OT as Needed, 9pm-7am Monday-Thursday + OT as Needed
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate in Rockford, IL. Support pharmaceutical packaging operations by moving materials safely and accurately. Operate forklifts, manage inventory, and follow cGMP and safety standards in a steady, team-focused warehouse environment built for reliability and long-term work.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Complete basic training program in the following categories: Employee Orientation, cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) , Safety, company forklift licensing program.
- Maneuver a forklift (either a standard electric “sit-down” fork truck or a double-reach “stand-up” material handling truck) expediently, skillfully, and safely while transporting full or partial pallet loads of material throughout the plant, and into/out of rack fixtures.
- Accurately record, both manually and electronically, the movements of pallets of material.
- Perform, as a minimum, the following basic Warehouse functions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system: Inspection, Receiving to Stock, Inventory Transfer, Material Issuance to Work Order, Return to Stock, WIP (Work in process), Move, Finished Goods Move.
- Assess and unload deliveries per applicable SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedure), and work practices.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Overtime hours and weekends as required.
- Adherence to all company, cGMP, and GCP (Good Clinical Practices), procedures, rules and regulations.
- Attendance to work is an essential function of this job.
Warehouse Associate Requirements:
- Stationary position: under a 1/4 of the day.
- Move, traverse: from 1/2 to 3/4 of the day.
- Operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, or place: from 1/4 to 1/2 of the day.
- Install, place, adjust, apply, measure, use, or signal: up to 1/4 of the day.
- Position self (to) or move (about or to): from 1/2 to 3/4 of the day.
- Communicate or exchange information: from 1/4 to 1/2 of the day.
- Detect, distinguish, or determine: up to 1/4 of the day.
- On an average day, can expect to move and/or transport up to 50 pounds.
- This position may have the following special vision requirements: depth perception.
- Work near moving mechanical parts for 1/2 to 3/4 of the day.
- Work is performed in areas with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear for up to 1/4 of the day.
- The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
