Workers will perform a wide array of manual agricultural and horticultural tasks to support crop and plant production. General duties include, but are not limited to the following: Work tasks will include plant care, field production, sod production, equipment operation, and general farm maintenance including construction and equipment maintenance. Workers are required to work both inside structures and outside in various weather conditions. Temperatures may range from 10*F - 100*F, with the potential for wet conditions due to production processes or weather conditions not severe enough to stop field work; other various conditions may apply. Hours will vary depending on crop, time of year, and customer need. Early mornings, late evenings, and weekend work should be expected. Workers are expected to perform duties including boxing, weighing, and loading of products. Packaged products may weigh up to 60 lbs. and may be lifted to a height of 5 ft. Repetitive movements such as stooping, kneeling, bending, extensive walking, standing, and extensive pushing and/or pulling is required. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, insect spray, related chemicals, etc. may affect the workers ability to perform the job. Workers must be able to perform required tasks with accuracy and efficiency. All workers will be required to follow complete documentation and record-keeping procedures as established by the Employer for all applicable processes.
