We are a diversified grain farm growing corn and soybeans in rotation, and wheat on highly erodible acres followed by double crop beans. All harvested grain is warehoused in our 1.4 million bushels and hauled to storage/terminal locations over a six month period. This job entails operating large farm equipment including large and small tractors with attached equipment and on farm trucking. Employees will assist with on-farm fertilizer application, lime and gypsum spreading, anhydrous ammonia application with a tool bar, mowing, crop spraying and operating the grain dryer and elevator. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to assist in routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. In addition to the hourly wage currently $19.57 per hour all employees will receive 5 paid sick days during their 34 week tenure which if not taken (utilized) will be paid as a bonus in their last check before returning home. At the current $19.57 per hour x 8 hours per day x 5 days consists of $782.80 to be paid either as sick days or bonus.
