Job Description
Our client, a leader in the automotive accessories industry, is looking for a Marketing Planner.
This is a Full Time role that starts as soon as January.
This role is ONSITE in Richmond, IL (M-Th) and WFH on Fridays.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing planning, brand management, licensing, or a related role
- Experience managing licensing approvals, brand governance, and creative workflows
- Hands-on experience managing digital asset workflows, including asset intake, metadata, taxonomy, approvals, and version control
- Working knowledge of Digital Asset Management Systems (Bynder preferred)
- Project management skills
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for licensing partners, agencies, and vendors, managing end-to-end licensing approval workflows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and on time delivery.
- Educate internal teams and external partners on licensing requirements, brand usage guidelines, and approval processes to support efficient execution.
- Lead the creative development and execution support process for new product launches, marketing campaigns, and content initiatives from concept through final delivery
- Develop and manage creative briefs, project timelines, and approval workflows to ensure efficient execution aligned with brand and business objectives
- Partner cross functionally with product, sales, creative, and external agencies to align deliverables with strategic goals
- Ensure all creative assets meet brand standards, licensing guidelines, and compliance requirements prior to release
- Own execution within the Digital Asset Management System (Bynder), including asset intake, metadata, taxonomy, approvals, version control, and access
- Enforce DAM governance and best practices
- Establish and continuously improve marketing processes and systems to drive efficiency and scalability
- Develop and maintain clear project documentation and status reporting to support cross functional alignment
- Act as a brand steward, ensuring consistent and appropriate use of brand and licensed assets across all channels
- Support marketing planning and execution aligned with product strategies and business goals
