Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations as outlined by the Executive Director.
Oversee program participants to ensure they are career-ready and meet all criteria for program completion
and placement in a USDOL-registered apprenticeship program.
Participate in startup and benchmarking activities; develop, implement, and revise Individual
Service/Employment Plans (ISPs/IEPs) from initiation to completion.
Monitor and support participants' attendance, engagement, and classroom participation.
Identify service needs, refer participants to appropriate social service agencies, track their progress, and
provide ongoing support.
Maintain detailed case notes and prepare daily status reports, weekly progress reports, and comprehensive
monthly summaries for the Director's review.
Engage in outreach and recruitment efforts by attending union meetings, career fairs, community events,
and other relevant gatherings.
Assist participants with career placement activities, including maintaining tracking systems, providing
interview practice, and supporting resume development.
Conduct follow-up to ensure retention and success, maintaining contact with employed participants for up
to 365 days post-placement.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support program objectives.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
Proficiency in office procedures, equipment, and software applications such as Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint.
Practical communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with participants, instructors,
administrators, and community partners.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Decision-making capabilities regarding participant progress and program continuation.
Ability to design spreadsheets, prepare reports, and compose professional correspondence.
Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
