What You Will Do
The primary purpose of this position is to provide support in critical aspects of the operations and sustainability of SIUE East St. Louis Charter High School. These duties include supporting CHS adherence to state, district, and university policy in daily operations and supporting the principal in managing daily operations and goals. This position will also oversee the management of school-wide data collection, analysis, and communication across the school team and support the implementation of standards-based, differentiated instruction, anti-racist, anti-biased, and responsive pedagogies. The Assistant Principal will conduct classroom observations under the direction of the principal, lead and co-lead professional development and curriculum for socio-emotional wellness (e.g. FINAO), anti-racism, anti-bias education, and school-wide support for students who have experienced trauma. This position will support the Principal in all areas of operations.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
-Masters degree
-Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Administrative Endorsement
-Minimum of 4 years, at least one year experience in academic leadership (instructional coach, curriculum coordinator, assistant principal), experience with data information systems such as Skyward, demonstrated knowledge of Illinois school policies and statewide initiatives
