Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Simulation Lab Manager, the Nursing Laboratory Assistant primarily supports clinical nursing skills lab activities by preparing lab classrooms and materials for student instruction and return demonstrations.
Qualifications:
- Education
- Associates Degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Experience
- One (1) year current practice in clinical nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Current practice in a variety of settings preferred.
- Simulation operations experience preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/or Compact State Licensure Active and unencumbered in the state of Illinois Req
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Active BLS Certificate Req
- Active BLS Instructor Certificate Pref
Working Conditions:
Work Schedule: Benefitted, 5 days/week, flexible hours between 7am - 6pm.
Hiring Range: Starting pay begins at $23.87/hr. based on experience.
Competitive starting pay is dependent on education and experience.
