Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting activities.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of timely financial statements.
- Develop supporting schedules and financial statements aligned with monthly closing processes.
- Manage corporate tax-related tasks, including sales tax and corporate tax returns.
- Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate financial data.
- Leverage expertise in large-scale accounting systems to streamline processes and reporting.
- Monitor compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the accounting department.
RequirementsKeys
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited U.S.-based institution.
- Proven experience working across multiple industries.
- Proficiency in using advanced accounting systems like Oracle, Sage, NetSuite, Workday, Dynamics 365, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax, sales tax, and tax return preparation.
- Expertise in journal entries and general ledger management.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
