Target hiring range for this position will be between $55,000 - $60,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data
Job Summary:
The Secondary Position Coach will work with their designated Assistant Coach and ultimately report up to the Head Football coach. This is a full-time appointment renewable on an annual basis. This position is designed to help in all phases of a successful Football Program including, but not limited to, on field instruction, off campus recruiting, film breakdown, data entry, advance scouting, practice planning and execution, as well as other administrative functions as needed. Morning, evening, and weekend hours as dictated by practice, games, recruiting and other football related events are required.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Assists the head coach, designated coordinator, or assigned Assistant Coach with coaching and training the Northwestern football team.
- Assists with on and off campus recruiting of prospective student-athletes.
- Assists with the psychological preparation of team in both pre-game and post-game; and for developing motivational approach to practice and games.
- Assists designated position team with:
- Creating and preparing playbooks, depth charts, practice and game plans, scouting and tendency reports and practice cards;
- Data entry and research;
- Charting duties during practice and on gameday
- Weekly and post season scout analysis
- Assist, as needed, and regularly communicate with the recruiting and scouting department on the following:
- Updating and managing the recruiting database
- Organizing recruiting areas
- Completing required compliance and business office paperwork as it relates to recruiting (official and unofficial visits, camps/clinics, etc.);
