Job Description
Our Healthcare client is seeking a fully remote Marketing Automation Manager to join their team for the next 12 months, 40 hours/week.
Role Summary
The role is responsible for designing, building, quality controlling, and executing high complexity omnichannel marketing campaigns. This individual will lead the development of personalized customer journeys and trigger-based programs to ensure the right message is delivered to the right audience at the right time through the appropriate channel. The position requires strong expertise in marketing automation, campaign execution, and deliverability optimization, along with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and continuously improve performance through testing and analytics.
Top Must Have Skills
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including campaign build and execution
Deep expertise in email marketing, database marketing, CRM, and 1:1 personalization strategies
Strong understanding of email deliverability, IP reputation management, and inbox placement optimization
Proficiency in SQL, HTML, CSS, and Excel
Proven ability to build complex customer journeys, trigger-based programs, and segmentation strategies
Strong quality assurance, testing, and campaign validation experience
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Additional Qualifications
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification
5 or more years of hands-on experience building campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
3 to 5 years of experience in database marketing, CRM, email, digital, direct mail, or 1:1 marketing
Bachelors Degree
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead initiatives without daily supervision
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
Ability to think strategically while executing with precision
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, technology, analytics, and agencies
Continuous learner who stays current with industry trends, tools, and best practices
Responsibilities
Build, quality control, and execute complex omnichannel marketing programs including base journeys and trigger-based campaigns
Ensure high quality, on-time, and error-free implementation, testing, and quality assurance within the marketing automation platform
Create, review, and maintain quality control documentation to ensure campaign accuracy and completeness
Monitor email deliverability across domains and provide recommendations to improve inbox placement and resolve IP reputation issues
Identify campaign or deliverability issues, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions
Participate in agile delivery processes including design, build, testing, and continuous optimization
Maintain documentation in alignment with departmental policies and procedures
Implement advanced capabilities including targeting, personalization, segmentation, and dynamic content to optimize customer experience
Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, identify winning strategies, and recommend ongoing optimization opportunities
Lead collaboration with internal and external partners to execute email, direct mail, SMS, and media campaigns
Provide project updates, highlight risks, and ensure alignment with leadership expectations
Deliver strong customer service and consistently meet or exceed stakeholder expectations
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices and provide recommendations for adoption
Foster a collaborative team environment through strong relationships, continuous learning, innovation, and a results-driven mindset
