Position Summary
The Roofing Instructor provides instruction in steep-slope, low-slope, and specialty roofing systems, including materials, installation, safety practices, repair procedures, and equipment use.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach NCCER-aligned roofing modules including steep-slope, low-slope, materials, installation methods, weatherproofing, flashing, and repair procedures.
- Demonstrate proper rooftop safety, harness use, and fall-protection systems.
- Provide hands-on training, mock-roof practice, and skill demonstrations.
- Ensure safe use of ladders, PPE, scaffolds, and tools.
