CNC Machine Operator
Job Shop Environment
Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level (Up to 3 Years)

In this role, you’ll work with Haas and OKUMA CNC machines in a job shop environment, supporting long production runs while maintaining tight quality standards. You’ll be part of a skilled, supportive team where your attention to detail truly matters.
What You’ll Do
+ Set up and operate Haas and OKUMA CNC mills
+ Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
+ Change and adjust cutting tools and offsets to maintain performance
+ Monitor long production runs to ensure consistent quality
+ Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
+ Make minor adjustments to maintain part quality and reduce scrap
+ Troubleshoot basic machining or production issues to minimize downtime
+ Follow all safety, quality, and work instructions
+ Work closely with team members to meet production and delivery goals
What We’re Looking For
+ Up to 3 years of CNC mill operating experience (production or job shop)
+ Hands-on experience with Haas CNC machines (OKUMA experience is a plus)
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints
+ Experience using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring tools
+ Basic CNC troubleshooting skills
+ Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
+ Dependable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
Nice to Have (Not Required)
+ Experience in a job shop environment
+ Familiarity with long production runs
+ Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
