Job Description
We're looking for a People Team Specialist who thrives on building strong employee experiences and supporting the moments that matter most at work.
This role sits at the center of our People Team-supporting everything from onboarding and employee questions to engagement and day-to-day operations. You'll help create a workplace where people feel supported, informed, and set up to do their best work.
As we continue to grow, we're also expanding our team with a dedicated benefits specialist. This means you'll remain a trusted resource for employees, while partnering closely with that role rather than owning benefits end-to-end.
You'll also play a role in supporting our hiring efforts-helping us move efficiently on open positions while creating a thoughtful candidate experience. This won't be your primary focus, but you'll stay close to the process and assist as hiring needs fluctuate.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Be a Go-To Resource for Employees: Support day-to-day employee and leader questions while creating a responsive and consistent experience.
- Support the Full Employee Lifecycle: Assist with onboarding, transitions, and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Leverage Tools and Systems: Maintain data accuracy and improve workflows. We have a data overhaul project in the works needing your support!
- Support Hiring Efforts: Help coordinate recruiting efforts for a small number of open roles, including candidate communication and scheduling.
- Support Benefits and Wellness Programs: Serve as a knowledgeable resource while partnering with the benefits specialist on more complex needs.
- Partner Across the Business: Collaborate with teams like payroll, IT, and marketing to support employee needs.
- Support Leave Processes: Assist employees navigating leave with empathy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Maintain Policies and Practices: Help ensure consistency and clarity across company practices.
- Bring Ideas Forward: Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance the employee experience.
- Experience Supporting Employee Programs in a people-focused environment.
- Strong Communication and Relationship Building skills.
- Organization and attention to detail with strong follow-through.
