Heavy Trailer Truck Driver
(Huntley, IL) – Full Time
Drive tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Drive nationally across the US. Driving Hours: Up to 11 hours per day. On-Duty (Not Driving): Up to 3 hours per day (includes loading/unloading, vehicle inspection, paperwork, etc.). Off-Duty (Rest): Minimum 10 consecutive hours off-duty before starting a new shift. Typically drive 5-6 days per week, depending on dispatch and delivery schedules. A standard shift might begin around 6:00 AM and end around 8:00 PM, including breaks, on-duty tasks, and driving. $64,900.00 per year. High School or GED, plus 12 months of experience in job offered or as truck driver or related. Must have CDL - commercial driver's license or be able to obtain one within 90 days of hire with the support of the employer. Background check required to be conducted by commercially available third-party background check company prior to hire.
