Job Description

Chicago North-Side State Farm Agency is taking applications for the next great Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Agent Team Member.  You would be vital to our daily business operation and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

Note:  We will consider Full-Time & Part-Time.  If you seek Part-Time, notify us the day and hours you're able to work when you contact us.


RESPONSIBILITIES.............

    • Willingness to engage in consistent confident, engaging needs-based sales conversations with relevant questions, that lead to appropriate insurance solutions.
    • Strong follow up on quotes and customer inquiries within same day bus day in order to close, or possess strong follow up
    • Represent the agency at community events and support local brand growth
    • Ability to build a center of influence, network of contacts, to create referrals for prospective customers
    • Utilize telemarketing techniques to generate leads and schedule appointments
    • Travel outside the office to network with business professionals
    • Brand the agency and yourself on social media websites.
    • Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses - Assist customers with payments, policy updates, and general service needs, proactive in problem solving
    • Ability to set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of insurance transactions and other responsibilities.
    • Maintain consistent accurate records within our database of every customer interaction.

        • Base Pay (doe)
        • Uncapped performance-based Incentives. Incentives are based on productivity and are not guaranteed. Payments are governed by the terms of the applicable sales bonus plan, which is subject to change at agency’s discretion.

        • Insurance License Fee (P&C & L&H) reimbursed after 3 mths of employment
       
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
    • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
    • Experience in customer service or sales preferred.
    • Leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Strong persuasion skills
    • Insurance Licensed preferred (P&C & L&H) - If unlicensed, willingness to commit to obtained required licenses
    • Receptive to feedback and performance coaching
    • Competitive, highly self-motivated and enjoys being rewarded for your efforts and productivity
    • Able to work independently and hold yourself accountable for performance
    • Possess strong cross selling ability
    • Able to network and ask for referrals or google reviews to develop new prospects
    • Bilingual speakers highly preferred
