POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Coordinator – Picker is responsible for accurately picking parts, components, and materials from inventory and delivering them to production, shipping, or staging areas. This role ensures timely material availability, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards to support manufacturing and fulfillment operations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Pick and pull components and materials from inventory per pick lists, work orders, or ERP system requirements.

·         Deliver picked materials to production cells, kitting areas, or staging locations in an accurate and timely manner.

·         Issue materials to jobs in the ERP system (EPICOR) and ensure transactions are completed correctly.

·         Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition of materials prior to issuing or delivery.

·         Run shortage reports and assist in identifying missing or incorrect materials.

·         Ensure all required materials are issued to jobs and non‑required materials are unissued as appropriate.

·         Maintain neat, organized, and clearly labeled storage, staging, and picking areas.

·         Operate material handling equipment including sit‑down forklift, pallet jack, and order picker.

·         Support 5S, good housekeeping, and warehouse organization standards.

·         Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution as needed.

·         Provide backup support for Shipping, Receiving, Put Away, and other warehouse functions.

·         Perform all work in accordance with safety procedures and company policies.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

·         High school diploma or GED required

·         Minimum 1 year of warehouse, stockroom, or material handling experience preferred

·         Experience with picking, issuing, or kitting materials preferred

·         ERP system experience (EPICOR preferred)

·         Ability to read and understand English; blueprint reading a plus

·         Forklift and order picker experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours per day. The employee frequently uses hands and arms to handle materials and equipment and may be required to walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but at times loud.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
