Job Description
Responsible for analyzing internal business operations and supporting the development of internal software systems to optimize field service coordination, scheduling, resource planning, and communication workflows. The position focuses on designing and improving proprietary, non-commercial software platforms used across the company’s residential roofing and restoration operations. Specific duties include: analyze operational workflows and gather business requirements to support software development initiatives; develop functional specifications and documentation based on business needs and stakeholder input; collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and UI/UX to ensure systems meet performance and usability requirements; participate in the full software development lifecycle (planning, testing, deployment, and optimization); conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for system improvements or automation; translate business requirements into functional software features and enhancements; assist in planning and coordinating software releases and updates; prepare user guides, training materials, and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT); monitor software performance, track bugs, and recommend system improvements based on performance data and user feedback; and research tools and technologies relevant to internal operations to propose new solutions as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field. and two years of In the job offered or in software product management, systems analysis, or software solution development roles.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Must have skills/expertise with the following:
- Agile/Scrum-based software development methodologies;
- Full software development lifecycle (SDLC) management;
