Responsibilities: As a Peer Recovery Specialist, your role is diverse and critical. You'll actively engage in linking individuals to recovery communities and ancillary services, encouraging sobriety-based activities, and providing ongoing support throughout their recovery journey. Advocacy on behalf of individuals with families, courts, and service systems is crucial, ensuring access, responsiveness, and protection of personal rights. Your contributions in coordinating services, completing necessary documentation, and promoting positive interactions within Chestnut and the broader community are fundamental.
