Middle School Math Teacher (Illinois Professional Educator License/PEL Required)
Locations: Berkeley, IL and Northlake, IL

We are seeking dedicated and dynamic Middle School Math Teachers to join our team in Berkeley and Northlake, IL . In this role, you will play a critical part in creating a supportive, structured, and inspiring learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally.
Position Overview
The School Teacher is responsible for implementing daily instructional plans in alignment with curriculum standards, fostering a classroom environment conducive to learning, and building strong relationships with students, staff, and families. The ideal candidate brings strong classroom management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities
+ Deliver engaging and effective math instruction aligned with established lesson plans
+ Maintain a positive classroom environment that supports learning and personal growth
+ Establish rapport with students while maintaining clear behavior expectations and classroom management
+ Collaborate with building administrators, general education teachers, and support staff
+ Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school personnel
+ Monitor student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
+ Uphold professional standards and comply with all district and state requirements
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
+ Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with middle and high school math endorsements required
+ Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience preferred
+ Ability and willingness to take responsibility for student safety, wellbeing, and academic outcomes
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to interpret instructional plans and effectively present information
+ Solid understanding of basic mathematical concepts
+ Commitment to professional standards of practice
Additional Requirements
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate per state or contract requirements
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
