Job Description
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) provide critical pre-hospital emergency care to patients in urgent medical situations. EMTs respond quickly to emergency calls, assess patients' conditions, administer basic medical treatment, and safely transport patients to medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide immediate care.
- Assess the patient’s condition and determine the appropriate course of action.
- Administer basic life support (BLS), including CPR, oxygen therapy, wound care, and medication as per protocols.
- Stabilize patients and transport them safely to hospitals or clinics.
- Record patient information and treatment details accurately.
- Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and medical equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and comply with medical and legal regulations.
