Our client, a precision manufacturing technology leader , is seeking a Field Application Technician to support customers and partners across North America. This role sits within Applications & Technical Services and fits someone who is hands-on, customer-focused, and highly independent .
Job Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Remote (U.S.) | Heavy Travel – NW, Midwest (Chicago), East Coast US
Pay Range: Competitive base ($70-90K) (Negotiable) + travel compensation
What’s the Job?
+ Install, troubleshoot, and service precision mechanical/electrical equipment
+ Provide on-site and remote technical support
+ Deliver customer and distributor training and demos
+ Support trade shows and technical events
+ Document service activity in CRM
What’s Needed?
+ 2+ years field service or technical school training
+ Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience
+ Strong customer communication skills
+ Willingness to travel extensively
+ Valid driver’s license; passport eligible
