Overview
The Electrical Engineering Manager is responsible for providing technical engineering information to the Project Manager, Craft Supervisors and Corporate Functional Managers to ensure design development and construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instruction applicable to High Voltage, Medium Voltage and Transportation electrical projects. This position will provide support to Pre-Construction and project controls (cost, scheduling, estimating), subcontract oversight, and work with project construction supervision as needed.
This position can be remote with travel or hybrid based in our Rockford, IL office with up to 50% travel to projects sites in the Midwest. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided. When overnight travel is required, meals and lodging will also be provided.

Responsibilities
Understand technical drawings and specifications for electrical/industrial construction. Interpret design/drawings for personnel installing material. Assist in the preparation of field design change requisitions and "as build" drawings, as required.
Establish subcontract language, scope, terms and technical requirements.
Plan and develop construction work packages for electrical systems.
Understand detailed project schedules including required predecessors and successors to each activity.
