We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Strategic Supply Analyst - Nitrogen to support optimization of nitrogen sourcing, supply chain performance, and logistics operations. This role is critical in driving cost efficiency, value creation, and supply reliability through data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration, and disciplined execution. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, supply chain expertise, and sound business judgment.

What You'll Do:


Perform advanced statistical and computational analysis across domain-specific and cross-functional datasets
Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform procurement, supply chain, and logistics decisions
Provide analysis and recommendations to support internal projects and operational initiatives
Contribute to the development and standardization of analytics methodologies
Analyze cost structures across the nitrogen supply chain and identify key cost and value drivers
Play a key role in long-term planning, forecasting, and working capital optimization efforts
Identify and evaluate improvement opportunities across the nitrogen value chain
Partner with operations to align procurement strategies with business objectives
Contribute to optimization of transportation and distribution strategies
Contribute to implementation of logistics solutions that improve efficiency and reduce risk
Assist with contract administration, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning
Analyze and contribute to mitigation of supply chain risks through scenario planning
Access and interpret management information to support decision-making
Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators
Participate in incentive program administration, tracking, and planning
Deliver insights to leadership on business performance and improvement opportunities

What You'll Bring:


Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Business, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field
6+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain analytics, or logistics
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Python preferred
Experience with ERP or supply chain management systems preferred
Strong foundation in data analysis, computational methods, and statistical techniques
Proven ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations
Working knowledge of supply chain operations, value chain optimization, and logistics cost structures
Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning concepts
Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and root cause problem-solving capability
Sound judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity and complex business scenarios
Strategic mindset with awareness of broader business impacts and evolving priorities
Collaborative and proactive approach with the ability to work cross-functionally
Results-oriented with strong accountability and ability to manage priorities independently
Effective planning, organization, and communication skills
Adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment

 


Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role, in Deerfield, IL, is between $110,400-$173,470.
