We're hiring a Sr. Project Coordinatorto join County Prestress & Precast, LLC in Westmont, IL.
Job Summary:
The Sr. Project Coordinator is part of a high technical, collaborative engineering and drafting environment that supports the complexity of projects from concept through fabrication and erection. This role is a strong partner between Sales, Engineering, Project Managers and our customers with the opportunity to influence how projects are coordinated, documented and delivered.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of standard details, policies and procedures, and workflows.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce inefficiencies and errors.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and assigned hours, including oversight of team budget performance.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor staff and coordinate project teams and their workload effectively.
Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Act as a liaison between County business partners and contractors, owners, and erectors, in conjunction with the Project Manager and Engineering teams ensuring jobsite progress and deliverables while maintaining potential pitfalls or field concerns.
Prepare and coordinate the preparation of piece drawings in advance of production dates, including final review.
Serve as a project reviewer ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency of deliverables including production schedules deadlines.
Review estimates, contracts, and contract documents (drawings, specifications, addenda, etc.).
Plan, coordinate, and prepare project documents with limited oversight and in conformance with the contract documents coupled with company standards.
Develop and detail projects to reduce costs and improve product efficiency to all stakeholders.
Compare the actual project under development with the bid estimate and partner with business leaders of any quantity or material deviations.
Maintain, predict, and order embed plates, loose materials, and / or department supplies to ensure fabrication, assembly, and delivery.

Experience & Qualifications:
Education:
Preferred associate degree or technical degree in architectural, civil, industrial or structural engineering or a minimum of 8 years of equivalent experience.
Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in the Prestress or Precast industry.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge and proficiency using AutoCAD or Revit.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management tools.
Working knowledge of current building codes and industry standards.
Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor junior team members.
Advanced communication skills.
Licenses/Certificates:
Preferred AutoCAD, Revit, and / or AutoDesk certifications held or extensive knowledge and experience within software required.
Work Environment:
Work is typically performed in an Office and limited Plant/Field environment.
Exposure may include: Noise, weather, machinery, public interaction, etc.
Travel required: <5%
Typical work hours/shifts: Monday - Friday, standard hours with limited overtime expectations.
