Job Title: Bilingual Tool Room Technician
Pay: $19/hr
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
Location: Madison County, IL
About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and safety‑focused Bilingual Tool Room Technician to support daily operations within our facility. This position is responsible for managing, issuing, and maintaining industrial tooling and materials, as well as performing basic mechanical tasks during downtime.
Important Requirement: You must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in both languages.
Applicants who are not bilingual will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, track, and issue industrial tools, equipment, and materials used in steel casting operations.
- Inspect and maintain tools to ensure they are in safe, working condition.
- Keep detailed, accurate records of tool usage, inventory levels, and maintenance needs.
- Communicate tool needs, shortages, and issues to supervisors and production staff.
- Perform light mechanical or maintenance tasks during downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe tool room environment.
- Follow all company and industry safety standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members in both English and Spanish.
