Job Description
Our healthcare association client is looking for a Full Time Marketing Automation Manager to join their team.
This role is HYBRID 3 days a week in the clients downtown River North office. Tuesday and Wednesdays are mandatory, 3rd day is discussed with your manager. Public transportation is accessible, shuttle from downtown trains is available.
You will create personalization through segmentation, adhere to digital best practices and utilize and optimize email and platform automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, product, analytics and other internal stakeholders, to develop personalized campaigns while enhancing campaign performance, learners' engagement and audience growth. The ideal candidate will leverage analytics-driven insights to advance plans in alignment with business priorities and objectives.
Requirements of the Marketing Automation Manager
- 5+ years of experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud as well as ESP platforms, CMS and CRM systems are required.
- HTML and CSS
- Experience in people management OR mentoring; 1 direct report
- Data driven; strong analytical skills and proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, Power BI)
Responsibilities of the Marketing Automation Manager
- Developing and executing acquisition and retention marketing plans for users leveraging personalization as a key driver of increasing audience relevance, conversion and retention
- Identifying trends and actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness
- Creating data-driven audience segments to deliver personalized messaging across channels
- Planning and managing the execution of personalized user journeys across website and email marketing channels
- Working with email team to plan and execute segmented email campaigns, drip and triggered ones, email testing
- Drive satisfaction and loyalty programs that turn one-time users into long-term advocates
- Building audience segments for targeted, personalized email campaigns and automated customer journeys
- Working with platform team to create scalable solutions to support the automation of personalization of user journeys
- Designing and implementing visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly website interfaces
- Working with collaborators, vendors and subject matter experts to create high-quality and impactful marketing assets to deploy across channels, including but not limited to online banner ads, ad hoc email, newsletters etc.
- Monitoring and analyzing performance using tools such as Google Analytics (GA), Google DataStudio, Tableau
- Using behavioral data, preferences, and triggers to create and optimize tailored customer experiences
- Conducting A/B testing and multivariate testing to identify and implement the most effective campaign components
- Leading, mentoring, and providing management oversight for one direct report
- Setting objectives, evaluating employee performance, and fostering a collaborative team environment
