School Psychologist – School-Based

Contract Length: Full school year
An educational organization in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a School Psychologist for a part-time, in-person position supporting elementary students during the 2026-2027 school year .
Position Details
+ Schedule: Weekdays
+ Hours: 32.5 hours per week
+ Shift: 8:50 AM – 3:40 PM
+ Contract Length: Full school year
+ Start Date: August 17, 2026
+ Setting: In-person, school-based
+ Interview Process: Virtual
Assignment Overview
+ Location: Terrace Elementary
+ Grade Level: Elementary
+ Caseload: Approximately 275 students
Responsibilities
+ Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
+ Support eligibility and placement decisions for special education services
+ Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
+ Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and families
+ Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
+ Active Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement
+ Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
+ Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Compensation
+ $75 per hour (local)
+ W-2 employment
