Job Description
Starting Pay: $40.00/hour
Hands-on maintenance role in a union facility—put your mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC skills to work.
What you’ll do
- Troubleshoot/repair mechanical power train components (conveyors, bearings, gears, gearboxes, shafts)
- Read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic symbols and prints
- Read PLC ladder logic symbols and instructions Rebuild pumps/cylinders from supplied prints
- Bend conduit and run basic electrical circuits according to prints provided
- Perform monthly preventative maintenance on production/facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Use welding/cutting equipment (stick and/or MIG, oxy-acetylene, plasma cutter, grinders, etc.)
- Rebuild pumps/cylinders from supplied prints
- Use pipe threading equipment
